My daughter is turning three years old in two weeks, and she wants a fish cake for her birthday. I am going to have a party for her at her daycare, and I wanted to do cupcakes for ease of serving! Any ideas would be great!!!
Thanks for your help!!!
You could do a cupcake cake. These are really good, because you don't have to decorate each cupcake idividually, and they are just as easy as cupcakes to serve.

and then do a fish/aquarium landscape looking thing on the top of it.
Or, on top do a buttercream transfer on top of the cupcake cake of her favorite fishy!

Both tutorials are by the marvelous cali4dawn.
I did fish cupcakes last year!
It was a Carribean destination wedding that returned home for their reception here. All the flowers were gorgeous tropical blooms and the colours were fuchsia & tangerine.
I made white and blue buttercreams, put them 1/2 and 1/2 in the piping bags and pipied the swirls on the tops of the cupcakes to look like water. The fish were made from pink or orange gumpaste, cut with a tiny fish cookie cutter (kitchengifts.com) I had also piped their initials on the sides of the fish.
Thanks for the great ideas! I love the ones from the Wilton website. I think I'll try those unless I come across something else before then!!!
Thanks!!!
