I just wanted to know for the decorators that are licensed what type of business set up do you have.......corporation, sole proprietor, llc, partnership...

i had asked about that as well and i was told that if it was just myself doing everything, then it would be listed under sole proprietorship (did i spell that right?) i think if it was under corporation, then it would mean you have employees...i could be wrong....hopefully somebody on this site would know as well icon_smile.gif

You can be an LLC but it is more expensive in taxes, but if things went horribly wrong your personal asset's are protected.

Talk to your accountant. If you don't have one, find one. They cost some money, but what they can save you is well worth it!
I have two businesses as well as some rentals. Everyone is in a different LLC. Yes, I pay more in taxes, but I consider it a form of insurance.
