Adorable puppy and a great name. I noticed that you had a name tag on her already which is important. If you haven't done it, consider having her chipped in case she loses her collar. It isn't very expensive and and doesnt hurt them at all.

Dogs Rule!! but I love cats too. My husband and I had an agreement when we got our pups, I just wanted girls and he could name them.
Our chocolate lab is Chewie and our black lab is Vader. Anyone guess what he collects??? Love this thread...Great pictures everyone. Ooooh, I miss that puppy smell!!!!!!The "girls" are 9 years old, seems like yesterday. Major advice.....Training school, Training school!!!! Mostly for you not them. It works wonders, everyone is so amazed how great my girls are. We get alot of complements. Its so worth it. Take your children with you too, they love being in control and learning how to train the pups. Good Luck with your new adventure!!!

yeah, we go to the vet in a couple of weeks for her second set of shots and I am going to talk to him about getting a chip for her and we start training school next month. we are so excited, all the dogs I have ever had (and I have not had one for like 15 years) have never been real well behaved and I think it would be so cool to have a dog that will actually SIT when i tell her to haha

We are planning on keeping our kitties indoors when they get older making them remain house cats lol. I am taking them in a few months to have their shots and will be taking them to be fixed & chipped just incase they ever get loose lol. I'd hate to have two pregnant kitties come home lol and I'd hate even more for them to run away after we've already lost 3 this year to death of old age (lived at my parents home for the past 15 years... were great kitties) and lost on last year to run away during a storm lol.... so I'd hate to lose these two lol.

But chipping is a great thing to do because even if she doesn't run away and someone steals her... been known to happen... they can track her down and scan her to make sure it's her and bring her back icon_wink.gif

For microchip....check your local Humane Society....the cost is MUCH lower. Our vet wants 75 dollars!!! The HS is $35...what a difference.
Our dogs...I'm sure MOST dogs...love cake...so I have to keep a watchful eye. They aren't picky at all.
Love the Pics..... here are my furry companions.

awww they are so cute!!!!

And yes I agree the local HS is much much cheaper then any vet I've found lol. The local vets in my area wanted up to $300.00 PER kitten to fix them at 6 months of age. The HS is willing to do it at 6 WEEKS which I do NOT agree with, but their price no matter when it's done is $45.~ icon_wink.gif Also agree that chipping is cheaper. My local vets wanted in excess of $125.~ to chip and the HS is alot cheaper, don't know exactly how much off hand but I know it's cheaper icon_wink.gif

And who doesn't like the idea of having puppy/kittie low jack icon_wink.gif

$75 or $125 for chipping? Good grief my vet charged about $12 and then I sent in about $15 dollars with the registration form.

Some friends of mine are saying we should think of something bakery related (since I have a shop) Any suggestions?? I have had some suggestions of Cupcake, Flour etc. also regular names are fine too, I have just never been good at naming animals. She is a mix with some shepard in her, not real large, predominatley carmel color with some black in her also. I just thought this might be fun to ask my fellow cc'ers. Thanks all

how about LATTE?

Well I am soooo happy for you icon_biggrin.gif !!!! Here is my little munchkins...our new one (yorkie) is named Brucey and the two little beagles (we saved them a couple of weeks ago from getting shot!), Princess (white) and snickers. We love our new additions!

Good luck to you!

Oh yeah wanted to add...We haven't had any of the puppies very long but the beagles are already house broken, we took them right out after every meal then when we came back we give them a treat (buddy bites)...now they go to the door together, go to the bathroom and scratch on the back door....Brucey is still working on it icon_smile.gif
