Don't know your area, but here I charge $3.00 a serving for bc cakes, $3.25 for extra work cakes (like hand painting, scroll work etc), and $3.50 for fondant. Maybe figure it that way?

Just off the top of my head, not less than $100 for all of it.

Don't charge less than a $1.00 per cupcake on the ccc.

I don't do scratch but would still charge this much for a box personally.

I see that you are in the Netherlands, where they use the Euro for money, not the dollar.

Today's exchange rate is about 1 USD = .78 Euro.

I would charge 1.25 Euro each for the cupcakes because of the extra work on the transfer.

The price of the 10" square cake would depend upon whether you are offering a 2,3, or 4" tall cake. I realize that your customer will be cutting 2x1" slices. The cake is hand-painted, so there should definitely be an extra charge for that work.

Please tell us how tall the finished sheet cake will be.

Alrighty, then, let's see, since ingredients are so expensive, I would definitely go with at least 50 Euro for that cake, because even though the servings will be cut smaller, the cake itself is twice as tall as a sheet cake here in the US.

That, combined with the 45 Euro for the cupcakes, yes, that would be almost 100 Euro.

Thanks so much! She's now changed her mind - she's going with the cupcake cake with FBCT of Dora and the Strawberry Shortcake pan done as a 2 layer cake, obviously decorated in all those darn buttercream stars ! She's getting a smash cake as a gift from me (which I think I'm do a little 4in 1 layer heart decorated like a strawberry),because it's for her daughter's first birthday. I've charged her 115 euros for the lot and she didn't say a thing - just asked how and when she should pay - yipee!

I would charge extra just for the PITA factor of all those darn stars, LOL. I hate those.

Congratulations on getting your price. Now make sure that you keep track of the time you spend on these items, to see if you need to charge more next time.
