i live in texas, and ive been thinking about trying to rent kitchen space to cook in so i can advertise. ive read here that churches are a good place to start. I work at a preschool that is run by a church, so i went up to the office and asked. they said since they are a non-profit, they cant rent me space to make something i will sell for profit. hum..thats no good. i guess the question is, is that the same for all churches, or so do some look the other way and thats how people use them? also, im not sure where else to check for a kitchen. any tips?

treys_girl, where are you in Texas? I am in the Austin area and I know of a couple of different kitchens for rent. Other people in other cities probably know of some in their specific areas, also.

I have also had some success posting on craigslist under 'items wanted'. I just posted that I was looking for a licensed kitchen to rent. Good luck!
