I have just been asked to make a birthday cake for thursday. I have been told - do whatever - great there goes my creative juices.

It is for brothers aged 4 and 2. I asked what they like and have been told NRL (australian football - their team lost yesterday so not as keen on doing anything with the dragons), hotrods, cars and batman.

Can any of you help me make a decision on what to do. I want it to be creative yet not too hard to do as I am flat chat this week. I also love working with fondant if that helps at all.

The cake is also to be 12" square and being taken to day care to share among 40kids and 8 staff. Will that be enough? Also how much would I charge???

Thanks everyone

Well, that's not going to be enough cake. I'll look try and think of something you could do, but I wanted to let you know that it's not enough cake. Maybe a tiered cake.
