I have made so many cakes in the last 2 or 3 weeks, that by the time my own birthday rolled around I almost didn't have the strength... I managed to bake the cake, but when it came to decorating it I didn't know what to do. So, I reached deep down into my creative psyche and came up with the only decorating job that could possibly express my true emotions. The 'blurred out' area was actually an R and an E. 
I didn't even use the roller to smooth it... tsk tsk, so lazy!!
Happy Birthday That is what my cake would have said if I had made it. No I just said the words and didn't even bake the cake. HE HE HE Did you enjoy eating it though

I had a small get together yesterday, my DH, DS, Mom, her beau, and Maternal grandparents, (my siblings, etc. will do something later) and I made that cake for it. You should've seen my grandparents when I pulled the lid off! They burst out laughing. They always get a kick out of me!

i tell you what...I didnt even make my own cake for my birthday today! I went to another decorator who I knew made good wedding cakes. Mine was soooo good. Also A lady from my church who does cakes is doing me one also....too much cake but they both are going to be good I know.
Thanks everyone!!! The cake from the lady down the street did not taste that well...oMg! But the one from the lady down the lady at my church was GREAT! They both were cream cheese pound cakes one was moist and one was very dry! What could she have forgotten? Now I have one cake I am going to take tto school because my classmates eat EVERYTHING! lol
I agree with what your saying, I have done 3 wedding cakes. 3 shower cakes and 2 birthday cakes , and then the friends wanted me to do one for myself.
BAH HUMBUG, but Seeing that I had extra batter from a wedding cake made a small one, but next time I will use your saying.

I know what you meen. Had huge wedding cake this past week and I couldn't think about my BDay.
I didn't even want to look at a cake I'd baked so many. As soon as I delivered that monster, I got
my self a BIG Dirty Martini, and a cupcake with a
candle in it. Anyways, I celebrate my Bday for
2 weeks.
I'm glad I was able to put a smile on a few faces! I wasn't sure at first if I should post it (thought perhaps the naughty cakes forum) but I decided it would be alright as long as I blurred out a few letters, but left the general idea. It wasn't outwardly dirty, but it's profane enough for some people to take issue, and I didn't want to raise any hackles!
