Ladies...
I just finish my first real big cookie bouquet order and was wondering if you guys can tell me if you would pay $50 for this cookie bouquet. She had requested 14 cookies in shape of cupcakes w/ bright colors w/ black outlines. I actually made 20 cookies instead as a bonus to her.

Honest opinions and critiques welcome =).

hmm... I can't get the picture to attach so it 's the first one in my album.

TIA!

Saw your cookies, they are perfect I think they are very well worth $50 dollars especially if customer is getting a bonus nothing better than a freebie! Love your cookies!

Don't be afraid to charge what things are worth. I've spent many years with this same problem and have finally come to terms with it. This is a beautiful cookie bouquet that someone would have paid alot more for at Cookie Bouquet. You did a beautiful job. Well worth the money and then some!

Because of the fact that this bouquet was custom made just for her, it is certainly worth $50. I was wondering how much it cost to make it? I would imagine that if you add up the cost of all the pieces $50 is a deal.

....OK. Now I was just looking through your photos and with your talent (very jealous here) you should not hesitate to charging $50. It is most certainly a deal.

Did you charge her $ 50.00 for 14 cookies ? Just so she knows she is getting a bonus with her order, and not being charged for something she did not order.... They are BEAUTIFUL, and well worth it IMO....

Thank you all so much for your kind words. I am always afraid to charge people for my products. I'm just scare they would think I'm crazy for charging so much but I want to be able to make it where I can get a little something for dirty all the dishes and etc for their order. You know, just make it worth it.
Yes, I did charge her $50 for 14 cookies and then threw in the other ones for her she was so sweet.

Ditto everyone else. It looks great, and you should have charged at least $50, probably more. Don't be afraid to charge what your time and talent are worth! (like I'm one to talk--- I have the hardest time with that, too!!) Great job!

i don't know cookies that well, but i would say yes, it works out to what, about $4.00 per cookie, starbucks charges you like, 2.00 for a package of their little dry non decorated shortbread cookies (yes, my kids have gotten me to buy them before and they don't even eat them) icon_lol.gif
