For my wedding, one of the layer was a caramel pecan filling. I have yet to find another recipe like this cake. Would anyone have a recipe for a caramel pecan?

There is a recipe for butter pecan mousse filling:

and I am making the sweetened condensed milk recipe - to make a caramel type filling, I was thinking of using it with pecans for my mom's birthday cake....
anybody with any other ideas??

OK!!!
Opened the can of boiled sweetened condensed milk, that I boiled for three 1/2 hours yesterday....fabulous!! Love it!!
Made a quicky cake tonight and used it as a filling along with whip cream, my husband said that I should have made the carmel filling thicker, forget about the whip cream. He loved it...
Looking forward to making my mom's birthday cake tomorrow.
Have to add, my husband isn't fond of whip cream.
