I would like to use the Buttercream Dream recipe but I only have unsalted but. I also only have table salt. How much table salt would I add to get the correct flavor?

I would start with 1/4 teaspoon and see if that tastes about right. If not, add a very little bit at a time. How much butter does that recipe call for?

Sorry, I got away for a while. Did you get it to work out? I would think about 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp for that amount of fat.

I am getting ready to make it after I feed my daughter. My dishwasher broke in the middle of everything and I had to stop and clean all the water out. icon_sad.gif

Thanks for your help! It turned out pretty good. Next I will just use the salted and unsalted butter and I think it will turn out a little better. Everyone seemed to like it.
