Ok, It seems that we need to roll out everything to 1/8" thick. How thick is that?? I really dont know how to roll to that measure actually I dont know to roll to any measurement, im not that good with thickness!!!!

So my question basically is like what is 1/8" thick, or what I can use to follow 1/8" thick pattern!!!!!

HELP!

I guess it depends on WHAT you are rolling out. WHen I'm making cookies-on-a-stick, I lay two wooden spoons on each side and roll the rolling pin over the top of this. I think this is about 1/4". I don't measure it .... it's just a thickness that works well.

PRcakes

Besides Indydebi's tip, they sell little rubber gasket style rings to slip over your rolling pin. They come in 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 set.

I actually bought this little guys from Micheal's for my Wilton rolling pin http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=1B328F10-423B-522D-FAED3E399DF48561&fid=1B328F3F-423B-522D-F168C4499AD05A9D
and they have three sets of rings...one that helps you roll to 1/8"! They are extremely helpful thumbs_up.gif! HTH!

I've used wooden skewers and that worked really well. It seemed to be about an 1/8". I have those little rubber rings that are 1/8 and held them up to the skewer and they're about the same thickness. HTH
