Did you know that if you heat up a container of buttercream, thinking it's mashed potatoes, your kitchen will smell quite lovely but your microwave will be an unimaginable mess?

LOL icon_surprised.gif Sorry to hear. If you put a coffee mug of water in your microwave for 5 mins it will make cleaning the inside much easier. Softens up the sicky inside. HTH.

Put soap in the cup of water and it will make it even easier to clean.

Sounds like something I would do. icon_lol.gif

I am sooo sorry. What a terrible mess. Lots of hot water and soap. And I think I'd prefer to pass on the house smelling really good.

HAHA-You poor thing. My pet peeve is STICKY! I hate sticky! It seriously drives me batty. I cannot imagine my microwave overrun by sticky goo-ugh! Very funny now-probably not so much at the time!

Reminds me of the time we came home from school, smelled chocolate and thought my mother had made chocolate cake. We had an old oven and had to light the pilot every time we used it, soooo my mom would just store things in there when she wasn't using it. The chocolate smell was a package of oreos she had left in there and had "cooked". We still remind her of that and we're ages 37 through 48.

Oh...and my pet peeve is the greasy tips, couplers, bags, and storage containers from icing!!! I really need to get over that!!! hehehe

That was my head hitting the keyboard as I was laughing so hard I almost wet my pants! I'm sorry that happened to you! But the kitchen smelled nice--that's got to be better than the smell you get when you preheat your oven and THEN remember there's tupperware in there! (It actually didn't happen to me, but I was a guest at someone's house right after it happened--stinky AND messy!)
