What Brand Cake Pans...

Sorry if this has been covered at some point... I have been picking up different suggestions from various posts...

But I was wondering what brand of pans everyone uses...

I am currently using borrowed things and I need to get my own pans. I want something of quality obviously... but can't go top of the line either..

Know of any midranged priced pans that are great?

All my pans are Wilton, and I love them. I've only been using them 2 years or less, but so far they are still in mint condition, all my cakes turn out great in them.

I currently have Wilton. I bought them used from someone off of ebay. And they took very good care of them. They still look brand new. I have had them for almost a year and used most of them multiple times and they still are in great shape and bake great.

However after hearing other talk about Magic Line I went online and bought 2" through 8" round pans and can't wait for them to get here to try out. (ironically i have heart/petal/hexagon and one square one, i didn't want to start out with the basics i guess, lol)

Most of mine are Wilton....and I love them. I have a few Magic Line and I don't care for them at all. After only being used a few times, they are all marked up and discolored.

Most of mine are Magic Line, including one that my teacher gave me that is several years old and looks as good as new! I did purchase most of them from eBay. I really love my Magic Line pans!
I have one set that is custom made (also from eBay), and it bakes really weird!

I have a few Wilton, mostly character pans, and don't care for them in general, especially the newer ones, they bend with just your fingers, to me that doesn't indicate a solid, sturdy pan to bake in.

All of mine are Wilton also. I just love them. They stay in great shape over the years...perfect baked cakes one after another! Good luck!

Just about all of my pans are Wilton. The ones that I bought back in the '70s are still as good as the ones that I have recently purchased. I have no complaints at all about the quality of Wilton cake pans.

i have some from wilton i have pans i bought at walmart. they work great and were cheap

Mine are all Crown pans. They are amazing. The sets come in 2" and 3", from 3" to 18" round and 5" to 16" squares. Love them!

I have Wilton and Magic line cake pans. I prefer to use the Magic line pans. In my opinion they bake the cake more evenly than Wilton and they are more durable. The Wilton pans get dented to easily. As time progresses I will eventually purchase all magic line pans.

I bought most all my sets from www.cooksdream.com . I love them, they are a heavy gage pan and the sheet pans have nice sharp corners which make them easy to ice.

I only have Wilton. I'm not sure if it's the pans or the oven, but without the magic strips, my cakes don't bake evenly. icon_sad.gif I have noticed that they dent easily too.

I have a mix of pans Wilton, William Sonoma, and some Calphalon, I like all of my pans however the 9x13 Wilton pan is Larger by about 1/2 inch than the Calphalon 9x13. Not sure how each company measures there pans differently but it is only a small inconvenience.

for those of you who have the magic line, are those the ones where they give you a perfect edge?? i want to sell my wilton pans and invest in those...if they are the ones i'm looking for.

Magic Line pans have perfect edges! Cakes turn out w/ nice edges everytime! I never have crumb problems either! I have all sizes of Wilton pans & I have 4-3" Magic Line pans. I use them more then the Wilton ones. I love Magic Line pans. Both Wilton & Magic Line pans clean up so easy!!
