Until we can implement a system in which both parties of the transaction can be verified, we do not wish to facilitate any transactions, whether they pass thru CC or not.
We wish to limit the chances of any negative experiences happening as a result of interaction on this site, and without verifying the parties involved we do not feel confident that we can protect our members from unscrupulous people.
In our opinion the "Looking For" section is an open invitation for merchants and scammers to hunt, and something we have little way to control.
We totally understand everyone's desire to have a method for exchanging their surplus tools and pans, but we must refrain from hastily responding to the requests until we can implement a solid solution.
