I was wondering if anyone knew how to preserve a cookie . I can't sell cookies to eat at an up coming craft fair , but I thought I could sell them as ornaments. Can you varnish a cookie? Any ideas , I wanted to try it out now and get started. icon_smile.gif

There is a special recipe for that..it 's not the
regular recipe that you would eat. Although it is edible, it has to come out very hard so it won't fall apart when handled.

unfortunately, I do not have a recipe for that.
I have done Cinammon and Elmers glue..It's not edible but it is
to decorate a Christmas tree, and not for eating.. icon_smile.gif

i would just leave out the baking soda or powder and just leave them all natural (after decorating of course)

Or you can just make them out of salt dough
