Hello Board.

I just made 100 fondant (already mixed Wilton) flowers for my wedding cookies. The wedding is in two weeks BUT here are some of my questions:

1. Should I have used gumpaste instead?
2. How should I store these fondant flowers?
3. Do I let them sit out covered or could I refrigerate them?
4. Will they last for the next two weeks when I place them onto the cookies?

I know that this ? has probably been asked and answered a thousand times, but I just can't seem to find the post right now.....

Thanks a bunch for your help, support, tips and great ideas - I'd be lost without this site!

Lis

You don't have to refrigerate them, just let them sit out to dry. Once totally dry, cover them and store at room temp.

You don't have to use gumpaste if you are having good luck with the fondant. Gumpaste dries faster and harder, but if you aren't having trouble, I see no reason to do them over.

They should be fine until the wedding in 2 weeks. Good luck.
