ok, i have this pound cake mix i bought from the store...and while it was mixing i ran to the bathroom...well, my 9 mo. old and 20 mo. old decided to trap me in! when i got back out to the mix, it was kinda fluffy. i put it in the oven anyway...anyone kno what it might come out like????

i have no idea... but my guess would be it would come out lighter.
please keep us informed to what it comes out like.

LMAO! not to make light of your troubles but this really cracked me up just because i have been there done that (decorating with kids around) and i feel your pain~
So what was the verdict? how did the cake come out?

well, after baking for 15 mins it was still jiggly in the middle, so i grabbed my flower nail and stuck it in there. let it bake for like 15 more mins, and it was spongy. i would say it def. isn't a normal pound cake lol...but it its not nasty either! just well, fluffy! like the batter was haha. all i can say is lucked out this time! and the cake im making is a cheeseburger cake..first time. we'll see how it turns out, i'll post a pic when done!
