This is my first time making molded chocolate so I have the simple instructions of melting the chocolate in the microwave, however, I wanted to give the chocolate a tropical taste so I purchased some of the Pina colada oils and droppers. My question is how and when is it a good time to add the oil and how much do I need to use?

Also, I have some violet pearl luster that I wanted to use to give the chocolates an iridescent color but am unsure as to how I would paint the dust on it. Do I dry brush it or do I add a little liquid to my brush?

TIA,
Veronica

Here's a bump on the luster dust.

I add my oils when the chocolate is about 2/3's melted. I never add after it is melted because I don't want to overstir the chocolate.
