A few girls I work with are pregnant and have been craving my cakes I thought I would make them each a little box of cupcakes to take home, and was wondering if anyone had any cute ideas for how to decorate them. The only thing I don't want is little babies or bellies on them. Just seems wierd to eat that...hehe!

I think just decorate them cute and girly.....maybe a flower or two on them....something just for the mom-to-be...there will be plenty of baby stuff later!

I would do a cute flower decoration and then maybe sprinkle a little edible glitter.....maybe?

Booties, storks, baby stuff (bottles, pacifiers etc)?

How about little piped booties-they are easy and adorable. You could pipe little teddy bears, diaper pins, ducks, etc. All are simple and cute-and can be for either sex.

Here's some I made that could work - I think they were in the Wilton 2006 yearbook....... don't have it easily accessible right now but I think that's where I got it

Oh P.S. - they were red velvet and yellow cake - and DO NOT use Wilton fondant - everyone told me it was nasty when they ate it on these cupcakes - one little girl put the baby head in her mouth and then spit it out "yucky!" Oops! Didn't know about CC then or about other fondants!

All cute ideas! I just called my mom and she said put them in a row and write "one for mommy..." and on the next one "one for baby...." Hehe. I think I'm going to have fun with this!

you could make the cake look like pickles and a carton of ice cream.
