Sometimes if I can't think of a certain filling to use, I just use the same buttercream that I use to frost the cake. It always taste good to me! icon_biggrin.gif

Creamy Nut Filling:
In med. saucepan stir together 1/2 cup packed brown sugar & 2 T AP flour; stir in 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Add 2 T butter; cook, stirring constantly till mixture is thickened & bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in 1/3 finely chopped walnuts (or pecans), 1/2 tsp vanilla, & dash salt.
Chill 1 to 2 hours. thumbs_up.gif
