Hi Everybody,
I haven't been able to really enjoy this website like I did during summer vacation. I miss it and I also miss making cookies just because. Anyway, my daughter's 5th birthday is coming up and I will be making a cake and cookies using homemade fondant. I was wondering how far in advance I can make fondant and where does it need to be stored?
Thanks,
Elvira

I make marshmallow fondant. You can easily make it a week or two ahead of time. Store it at room temperature in a ziploc bag. When it comes time to use it, put in the microwave in 5-10 second increments until it's pliable, and knead with crisco on your hands. Works like a charm for me!

Kelleym,
Thanks for the tips. I will definitely try the crisco.
