Hi,
I'm making a 4th of July cake and came up w/ a cute idea... It might be common knowledge, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
I made a french vanilla cake and mixed in red, white and blue sprinkles (jimmies) into the batter. It turned out really cute and festive.

Great idea, home made confetti cake! I liked the idea from the wilton book about using food coloring to color white batter red and blue for a 4th of July cake.
