I am doing my first wedding cake in a few weeks and was wondering on the best icing to use for a wedding cake. I've only ever done birthday cakes and such and always used regular BC icing, but would I want to use this for a wedding cake too? I've read about IMBC. Would this be a good choice?

The IMBC and SMBC are really good, but risky in the heat. If your venue is inside and has a/c, no problem. I recommend you try the icing ahead of time. I can be tricky, and not everyone likes the buttery taste.

If you have heat or outside, you would be best sticking to a standard icing. I really like the whipped cream buttercream in the recipe section. It doesn not contain cream, but it is nice and fluffy.
