That's great!! Someone should make chocolate molds with the ears missing on rabbits so I can make my mom some for Easter!!! She always ate the ears after we found our baskets!!

Oh, those are awesome!!

And what IS it with the rabbit ears? Is it just that they are so easy to bite off? They have this amazing allure... you can't leave them alone! icon_lol.gif

They are cookie cutters that are shaped to look like someone has taken a bite out of them icon_lol.gif

Thank you Connie!! (And tonight I am spending my fifth wedding anniv. making cakes!! icon_confused.gif )

I think the funeral idea is funny... it might at least give people something else to think about for a minute. And I know I have that sense of humor... I'd want that at my funeral! icon_lol.gif

Too funny! We could save money and make ours without the cutters - just take a bite out of each cookie. LOL. Just kidding. icon_lol.gif

My dh suggested using one of my biscuit cutters (smooth circle on one side, scalloped edge circle on other side) to cut off a section of a cookie cut with a regular cutter. I think that would actually work.

He also suggested cutting the cookie partway through baking or even right after they come out of the oven, so the edge would be more raw-looking.

You could brush the cut edge with sugar glaze to resemble, um, saliva.

Those are cool!! They remind me of when I was a kid and we used to ask kids if they wanted ABC gum or NBC gum. ABC was Already Been Chewed and NBC was Never Been Chewed!! LOL

Hey RedPanda... it looks like that non-sugar cookies were just drop cookies like normal. then cut when they came out of the oven, so you and DH are on to something there!! Excellent idea!
