Remember that whatever show you are doing, the actual wedding is usually 6 months away. Around in south jersey, the fall shows are busier because everyone is getting married in May. I bring a dummy cake for visual effect and pass out mini cupcakes for tasting. People love free stuff!!!. Also cookies are big here and they love them for favors so bring examples of them. I also give each bride a little tote bag, (from AC Moores) which has a sample of the cookie favor, my business brochure, a magnet business card and a coupon for the bridal shower cake and favors. The mom or bridesmaid call because they are looking to save money on a cake or favor with the coupon and then the bride falls in love with your product and calls for the wedding. I know this all sounds like a big expense but in the long run, if you get 3 bookings out of 100 brides it will more than cover your costs, time and effort. Good Luck icon_biggrin.gif
