That's it! I'm packing up all my Okie family and moving to Canada!!! I would have gotten about $35-$50 dollars for this same cake down her in Oklahoma! Way to go Jenteach!
Me too! That is awesome that you got that much! No way I woulda got anymore than $40. Boy do I wish I lived in a place where ppl appreciate how much goes into a cake. Around here I would hear "It's just cake.....I'll go to Walmart." UGGHH!!

i just got back from vacation in vancouver...i think they can get that much because the cost of living is so different...it is much higher than the midwest. for goodness sakes, the burger king was paying $12/hour.

Here in Texas... we'd probably only get $40 - $50, about the same as Mencked in Oklahoma. I guess the $12/hr at Burger King that Bethyboop was talking about puts it all into perspective though.
