Where do y'all get the little bags to individually wrap your cookies? I've looked at Michael's and Hobby Lobby and Garden Ridge on their baking supply aisles, but all I can find are smaller bags to put candy or lolipops in. Is there someplace else I should be looking?

I'm making a barn shaped cookie that will be about 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Then I would like to tie the tops off with a little strip of bandana fabric or something similar.

Thanks for all your help! This board is amazing!

if you have one>>

Dollar Tree often has plastic treat bags usually w/ designs on them.

They also will have seasonal variations around all the main holidays. The Halloween ones are in the stores now, soon to be followed by Christmas ones.

At Christmas, and sometimes Easter too, they even carry bags big enough to hold a big plate of them. I used two for the cookies trees I made w/ my grand-niece (see my photos). The bags easily went over plate and tree.

I get my bags at Walmart...by the character birthday plates and things. They are $1.46 (#25 I think) and perfectly clear, sturdy, and much cheaper than Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

I get mine at Hobby Lobby. A pack of 48 or 50 bags is less than $2.00, in the size you're looking for - they're the gussetted bags, probably 4x8 inches or so (with the gussets, they'll hold cookies that are wider). I also get the small ones there for my cookies up to about 3 1/2 inches, and those are even less, a pack of 100 is less than $2 for those.

They're in the same aisle as the Wilton stuff, but they're the Hobby Lobby brand, not the Wilton brand (which is about 3 times the price for the same thing, LOL!).

hth!
Laura.
