Just wanted to share....don't they look easy???

i think duff did a bunch of these on Ace of Cakes a few weeks ago too. it was a special order.
they are really cute.

I think Duff (Ace of Cakes) did cookie towers similar to these in one of his shows. Cute idea and so simple.

I am making 75 of those for my daughters wedding in Nov. I got the boxes at sugarcraft.

There are a few posts on this, if you want to search the cookie forum for Martha Stewart (that's what I did). www.papermart.com seems to have the best prices on the boxes that I've found.

Just a word of warning - I practiced making these a few weeks ago and I guess my dough was not chilled enough before I baked the cookies and when I took them out of the oven some of them spread and were uneven so my little cake looked very lop-sided. icon_cry.gif

The ones that Duff made did not look as "perfect" as the Martha ones do. I didn't think they looked very good. (just my personal opinion here) My daughter even made the comment - "why would anyone want something that looked like that for their wedding??" (when she saw how they looked put together on his show)

Not knocking Duff - I love his show!
