I was wondering where everyone gets their cake boards and boxes?
I usually buy mine from Wal-Mart. Just the boards. I don't do boxes, but really need to. I found a website and wanted to know if some of you can take a look at the prices and let me know if those are reasonable. Being I don't know what they run. Or does anyone have a site I can go to and get them cheaper?
Here is the site I am talking about:

Thanks in advance!
I can never find boxes to fit my cakes. I have looked everywhere I make my cakes to tall usually. I have bought rounds from HEB but here is another site you may like to try http://www.cakecarousel.com/suppliesrentals/cake.htm

Your WalMart's must have a better selection than the ones I've been too here in Alberta. They don't even carry cake decorating stuff. I have to buy from Micheals...highway robbers! It's too bad there isn't a home sales supplier like PartyLite (which I sell) I'd sign up to be a distributor in a second!
MrsMissey how ya doing? You know when I did gift baskets a few years ago I came across this site and just assumed you had to have a tax number. You know for wholesale only. Is that not true? OMG I could have saved tons of money through this site on wrapping paper. Thanks. Off to compare prices!
Hiya!! Nope...don't need a tax ID # for papermart! They have tons of good stuff don't they?!!
i buy my cake boards at walmart bc my hub works there so i get his discount. my boxes theres a store 60 miles away thats pretty good we go once or twice a month
i pay .15cents for 9inch .25 for sheet
This is where I get my cake boxes from:

They also have lots of other cake decorating supplies.
You may want to check local box stores in your area. A lot of them carry bakery supplies. The boards that are sold at Walmart and Michaels are just too flimsey!!! The brand I use is called PAC. They are double thick and very sturdy!!! And they carry boxes to fit each size board.

I get mine at a bakeshop here called " Lynelle's"...thye have a great variety and good prices.
I have to pay 1.99 - 2.50 for a cake box here where I live, from Party City or Hobby Lobby... I haven't found anywhere cheaper so far. I don't make enough cakes to merit buying them in bulk online, unfortunately.
