I am looking for a delicate-looking scroll design gum paste cutter and I cannot locate one anywhere!

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find something like this? I don't have a steady hand, otherwise, I would just pipe directly onto the cookie a scrolled design, so I thought if I cut it out of gum paste it would look MUCH better! After all, these are for a wedding in 3 weeks - yikes!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much,

Lis

If I was looking for a gumpaste cutter, I would email Nicholas Lodge. His website has many, many cutters for laces and trims. I would just describe what you need, and ask if he has something like that.

There is a really nice lace cutter. It has two sides, but could easily be cut down the middle for long strips of scallops.

Yes, what site did you get them from? But.....what is the size? My cookies are going to be a monogrammed "R" and the cookie height is about 4" - I'd place this scroll down the left side of the letter itself.....what do you think?

Thanks

Here is another attachment which is a silicone mold. Do you know how these work? Do I use fondant or gum paste with these?

I thought if I can't do the scrolls since I understand they are soooo dainty to work with, maybe just a simple mold of a flower on the top of the "R" would be nice......when you get a chance, just let me know if you have any info on silicone molds......

Thanks so much!
