I need to send a batch of cookies overseas to some guys stationed in Iraq. Does anyone know how long the glace icing will last? Because it is made with milk will it get rancid? Also, I have never worked with MMF but would like to try it. Will that become stale, any idea how long it will take for that to happen. Thanks so much!

I can speak for Fondant since I cover my cookies w/ MMF ALL the time..
The fondant will last "forever", really, but the cookies will probably not be as fresh when it gets to Iraq. But I'm sure if it's wrapped tightly, it will stay fresh.. How long does shipping take to Iraq ? I'm sure your cookies will be greatly apprciated by those very hard working US soldiers..
