How do you make the diamond pattern on your cake like the top tier of this one?

It's made by a diamond impression mat. The mat is made from a flexible but hard plastic. You wait for the bc to crust and then press the plastic mat into the cake.

I find it a little tricky to get the lines to match up so I would suggest a little practice first. It's not as easy as it looks, well, at least not in my case, LOL. icon_wink.gif

Thanks!! Seems like it would be easier on a square cake than a round one - is that right?
