I have to make wedding monogrammed cookies in 3 weeks. I was planning on using Toba Garrett's glace icing and then decorate, BUT would they look nicer if I placed MMF onto the "R" and then decorate?

How or what do I use to paste the MMF onto the cookie?
Should I tint the MMF or could I just flood the MMF with ivory glace?

It seems so difficult to fuse color into the MMF - takes FOREVER.....what's your advice>

Thanks a bunch,

Lis

...its actually really easy to put color into MMF if you do it after you have melted the marshmallows but before you add the powdered sugar.

Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly but if you're asking how to stick the MMF to the cookie...I've use corn syrup and I've also used water (liked best) - both adhered the fondant to the cookie.

yes, melt the marshmallows add the coloring, then the powdered sugar.........while your cookies are baking roll out the MMF and cut it out using the same cookie cutter and when the cookies come out of the oven place the MMF directly onto the cookie, then once the cookies have cooled completely you can go back and add royal icing details or even write the names of the wedding couple with food markers
