You can use chocolate transfer sheets lots of ways. If you are molding chocolate shapes that are basically flat, you can cut out a shape, put it in the bottom of the mold, and pour in the chocolate. Make sure that the "rough" side (the side with the cocoa butter print) of the transfer is in contact with the chocolate.
If I'm piping a chocolate ornament--like a heart or butterfly, or something--I put the transfer sheet on the counter and pipe the warm chocolate on it in the shape I want. I peel off the chocolates after they cool and save any leftover areas of the sheets for future use.
Rubbing this onto cool chocolates will NOT work.
