Pre-printed transfer sheets for chocolate making

i bought some printed transfer sheets from a cake deco store here in Canada, but I'm sure you must have them in the States...anyway....does anyone know how to use them to transfer to the chocolate?

Do you cut a small piece and place overtop while still wet? or do a rub transfer?

You can use chocolate transfer sheets lots of ways. If you are molding chocolate shapes that are basically flat, you can cut out a shape, put it in the bottom of the mold, and pour in the chocolate. Make sure that the "rough" side (the side with the cocoa butter print) of the transfer is in contact with the chocolate.

If I'm piping a chocolate ornament--like a heart or butterfly, or something--I put the transfer sheet on the counter and pipe the warm chocolate on it in the shape I want. I peel off the chocolates after they cool and save any leftover areas of the sheets for future use.

Rubbing this onto cool chocolates will NOT work.
