Hi! I want to share a new technique I just discovered. I needed to do sugar cookies with sugar on top (not icing) and they wanted a face added. Hmmm, this doesn't usually work because the sugar is so loose on top of the cookie, that icing won't stick. I cut out star cookies and sprinkled with yellow sugar. On a whim I sprayed the top lightly with water from a spray bottle. WOW! They came out of the oven brighter and the sugar was slightly crusted. No little grains flying everywhere! I cut a stencil and sprayed a small face with my airbrush to make "Little Star" from Dora. The sugar didn't go flying. It was really easy and cute! thumbs_up.gif

Sorry...no picture, but I hope it will help anyway!
