I made my second and third "real" cakes over the past two weekends. One was my first attempt at a square pan and the other is the second attempt and first attempt at any fondant. I had so much fun doing these! Can't wait for my class to begin. I've allready learned soooo much from you all here at CC. I am officially addicted..hehe.

Great work! Get set to be addicted! I've only done 4 cakes, but now I long for time to bake and decorate!!! I find time where I didn't know there was any!

Your 2nd and 3rd cakes are great- especially the picnic cake!! I think that one is hilarious...maybe I need to get out more? Did you make the food out of mmf? Anyway, good job!

Thank you for the warm welcome and compliments.

Amber...they are not MMF (although I wish they were). The hamburgers are melted chopped snickers formed into patties and put between vanilla wafers. The hot dogs are red starbursts rolled (couldn't believe how real they looked!). They are put between a vanilla wafer cut in halfs. The plate is Wilton fondant and the ants are melted chocolate.

I can't wait to see what I do this weekend..hahaha.
