My little Sophia is finally here! Born on 7/7/7! I have really missed CC and making cookies, but now its back to work! I'd like to make a cookie/birth announcement to hand out at a family reunion next weekend. Has anyone ever done this? Any ideas? Thanks!!

As for the birth announcements are you looking to use this picture on them or just have announcement information? I haven't seen anything exactly like this but have thought of doing something similiar before.

If you were looking to do this picture I would make square cookies and then type into the photo in white her information.

If other announcements then you could do just about anything and write out her information.

Perfect Anne Geddes photo, Sophia is absolutely precious. Congratulations and I hope her birthdate of triples sevens brings her good luck for all of her life.

She's gorgeous!! That photo would make an awesome birth announcement, but obviously not on a cookie! Does her nursery have a theme? I think something soft and feminine would be nice.

Could you get her birth information on a onesie cookie?? I used a onesie cookie to announce my new grandson, name date, etc.

Also I have a large daisy cookie cutter that could be used for a baby girls announcement, use pink or white icing and writing.

what an angelic photo of your baby and how special for her birth to have been on a the lucky day! I would suggest getting the little photo edible buttons made.... I have seen these at my local grocer... it is a an edible image, but comes on circles on a sheet.... great for cookies or cc's... so maybe you cane find that sheet somewhere... good luck and congratulations... enjoy your new found love!

My daughter was born last year on 6/15/06 and I was glad it wasn't on 6/6/6!
