and I too love my animals, for goodness sake my cat, has a stroller! lol....but, I don't want to eat his poopie!
remember, cats dig in the cat boxes, bury their poop as most predators do....and if you're letting them climb on your counter tops or whatever...well, not in my house.
Also, some people are HIGHLY allergic to cat dander, so when I go in, not only do I use the sticky brush to remove any I change my clothing also.
I do agree that we are over sanitizing ourselves right out an immune system, but, there are people with compromised immune systems already that have nothing to do with the lack of germs, like elderly and children.
Or how about people like me? I can't take ANY antibiotics, they suppress my immune system to the point that I get secondary infections? ( I know, I know...I'm a delicate little flower... ) But, I would rather keep our sanitary laws and regulations and have a little peace of mind than wonder WHAT other little "GEMS" are hiding in my food that will "HATCH" later....lol
