1st Cake Order! Should customer sign a waiver???

I've got my first wedding cake order coming up - a friend of mine wants me to do a wedding cake for her sister in law! Oh boy!
Only problem is, I haven't started the legalities yet to be a licensed home bakery. I am planning on doing it, but I'm not sure if we are moving this summer or not, and I want to wait and see.
SO.... has anyone out there had their clients sign a waiver or release form, acknowledging that you are just a home baker and releasing you from all legal responsibility? I would just like to cover my tail as much as possible while I'm in this limbo period.

I have an excellent legal contract which you can see. It covers everything really clearly and easily in 2 pages.

You cannot have a customer sign a waiver that accepts an illegal transaction. Unless you are licensed, you are on your own.

If something goes wrong, you have no legal protection.

Thats sort of what I was thinking, if you are not a licensed baker ...a homemade contract is most likely not legal nor binding.
