Tonight starting at 7pm PST we are going to begin upgrading the hardware and software for CakeCentral.com.

These upgrades will take about 6 hours to complete. during that time, you may notice the site is slower. Do not fear, it will not be that way for long!

Near the end of the maintenance window we will be making the hardware changes which will take approx. 2 hours and you may not be able to access the site at all during this time.

Everyone should notice a signifigant improvement in page load time. If you are one of the unlucky ones that are still using dial-up, unfortunately, some pages may still load slowly, this is simply a limitation of dialup service and speed. However overall, you should be noticing improvements.

Hopefully this will better everyone's CakeCentral.com experience!

Sure am glad that I saw the announcement this time, last time I just tried to get onsite and couldn't and panicked and then went into withdrawal!

We have had to extend the service window to include today also.

Cakecentral.com has become so busy and popular that we have completey outgrown our current server!

The bad news! thumbsdown.gif
We will be moving the server today to the new box, so you may not have access to the site during the move.

Don't worry, when we are back up, the site will be faster and better than ever!

We will be preforming additional maintenance throughout today, so hang in there! icon_biggrin.gif

There are evidently a few glitches! I can't open the galleries or my own account. I get an error message, think it was 408. Janice

oops! That was yesterday! Today the Newest Photos have disappeared! Only have boxes with X's.
