Im sooo excited...i just got back from detroit where they were filming a cake challenge at the detroit jazz fest. I was right up front center and met and talked with mark, got his auto graph and pictures with him as well as the cakes decorated. It was so much fun! I just had to share Ill post pictures when I get them tomorrow!!

the cakes were so good, the girl who won, courtney was only 20 some years old and had only been decorating for like, 3 years. now she'll be in the competition competing for the 10.000 prize.

Cool! We met him too a few years back. To make a long story short, my DH is a contractor, and he was working on a house in Boston, and the family who lived there was really good friends with him. Thier son who has a bunch of mental disorders including ocd met him years ago when he was on Double Dare. He (Marc) has ocd himself, and is an advocate of awareness of certain mental disorders. Anyway, my dh was telling them how much my ds and I love Unwrapped, and they told us he was coming over for lunch, and we could meet him if we wanted. We even have his autograph on a cedar shingle. lol.

Thats really cool, hes a really good guy. and thats so funny you mention double dare...I watched that ALLLL the time..but never have I put the two together on why he was so formilliar on unwrapped....DUH i guess
