I'm so excited!! I just finished a few practice candies for an upcoming fall wedding, I think they turned out ok. Just candy melts brushed with a little luster dust (can't really tell in photo). Any suggestions for improvement would be welcomed.
Those are so pretty.
I am actually using the same mold as you for my wedding chocolates.
Wedding is October 14th so I am trying to experiment with chocolate too.
Maybe adding some orange and yellow colors into the mix of leaves?
I think I am going to try that route. Good luck with your candy!

I have been doing the candies for years and I have always found that if you want something other than just the plain candy, it workrs better to put the other color or whatevery in the mold where you want it first and then chill while the candy is melting and then add the candy. I like to do the multicolored candy and that is how I do those. I will do one color and freeze and then slowly put the other color in on top of it. To paint in the mold I have found that toothpicks work the best.
