Charmed - there is a recipe on this site for "Durable Cake for Wedding and Sculpting Cakes".

I recently used the "Durable Cake" recipe that moralna mentioned on the Jeep cake in my gallery. I really loved it. It tasted great and held up so well. I will definitely use it again!

I am going to be doing a musical note shaped cake in the next couple of weeks. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Pound cake is really durable as well...I use the country pound cake recipe from this site...its really yummy and is dense and durable!
