I am trying to get ideas for a birthday cake for a four year old girl who likes My Little Pony, Princesses and Dora the Explorer. I have been looking in the birthday cake albums but want to know if there is a way to narrow down what I am looking for and search for specific types of cakes. I don't see a "search" field for the galleries.

Thanks!

its in the gray box right under the heading if you click on the tab that says galleries...I think it says uploads and album list first.....

Yes, click in galleries and then look above it where it says "search". Click on search and then on the box that appears type in whatever it is that you are looking for.

Sometimes there is so much information you just overlook it, But here is how it lines up on the gallery page:

* Album list* Upload picture* Search

oh grr I hate getting interrupted by doorbells and phones when I'm about to post something and now I've forgotten what I was going to say icon_lol.gif

Anyway, it may come to me again- in the mean time, I'm curious where the 'auntsushi' name came from- lol- think it's a great one! (I'm sushi queen in my circles, eat sleep breathe work sushi lol-even made a sushi cake - in photos- last week icon_biggrin.gif)

good luck with the Dora /princess cake- I might reply again when I remember what I was going to say LOL

AI used to visit CakeCentral before the up dated new version. I am finding it difficult to find my way around. I need inspiration for a skateboard cake and used to go into galleries but can't even find the 'Gray box'

AMy cake central has been updated recently too & I'm finding it VERY difficult to find my way around now too. Very frustrating isn't it? I love to flick around from site to site but find I can't NOW. Not a happy home cook : (

At the top right of every page, there is a search box. Type what you are looking for (e.g., "Dora"). Hit Enter (or click on the magnifying glass). When you get the results, look at the menu on the left and click on images.

Are you using a smart phone? Evidently there are things you can't see unless you set it to "desktop." If you are a desktop computer, I am flummoxed.

AI have used both desk top & iPad . Both the same result. I'll keep trying. I've got to break through sooner or later don't I. My daughters boyfriend is a computer geek. I'll set him the task. :)

Just do the easiest thing of all and bypass CC.  Go straight to Google search.  Type in 'Dora Cakes' or whatever and hit Images.  Not only will you see a ton of pictures...you'll find that many of them link back to CC.
