Ok, I screwed up.
I have an order for a wedding cake, a surprise for the girls mom, who is having 25th anniversary this month. She gave me a check, and I had her cell phone number. She came by on very little notice, and I didn't have time to draw up the contract or anything before she got here.
So I mailed it to the address on her check. It's her mom and dad's address. She does live on her own, as I thought, but she hasn't changed her checks yet. Now she's having her brother make it home before her mom so mom won't find the invoice/contract.
I'm freaking out, I hope I didn't spoil the surprise....
Does your envelope have a cake-ish return address? If not, she may just think it's a regular bill or letter. Hope so!
No, it's just a home address, nothing "businessy"
I've gotta call her tonight and see if everything turned out ok.
