Once again there are THREE full pages of cake pictures that have NOT ONE COMMENT......... It only takes a minute of your time to give someone a little boost..... you are here anyway !!

I'm trying to help on that... it's easy to clik on the uncommentet pictures, then they all show up.... starting from there and working at it....

Me too, Rikki....... sighhhh .... There are some REALLY good cakes, and people are getting discouraged because no one comments on them....

Do you think maybe that with it being the weekend of 07.07.07 and the run up to it, that maybe a lot of people have been tied up decorating wedding cakes and so just not had the time to spare? I belong to another forum and it has also been quiet.

Where's the page? I love looking at new pics?

I usually wait until everyone in my house goes to bed and then I run thru all the "last postings" at the end of the day. Agree that there are a LOT of cake pics going on the site today, because of yesterday.

I love looking at the new pictures. I tried following the steps above and it stated that I don't have permission to go there.

Any ideas?

I want to comment on cakes, especially uncommented ones, because I know it feels great to have a comment posted about my work.

But when I click on uncommented photos, it says that I don't have access. What am I doing wrong? Probably not holding my piping bag at a 90 degree angle while clicking. help me and I'll start commenting away!

Well I prefer to go into the unanswered posts when I'm on here and try to help whoever I can if I cant then I can at least give them a bump or a lead to an old thread on the subject. Honestly there is sooo much controversy over what you say on the pics that I dont bother. I mean you can say nice pic, nice color great idea but to me they are not always sincere and if you try to give constructive criticism some people just take it the wrong way and bite yr head off or complain in another thread. So for now I'll just continue trying to help the posters that have questions. It seems that the questions get changed so quickly that sometimes they just get lost in the shuffle.

I would like to add that if I favourite a picture, I make sure that I also tell the creator I have viewed their cake and it's going in my favourites. I am so impressed that there is so much creative talent out there in the big wide world. Keep up the good work.!!!

I too am unable to view uncommented pics.Imk not authorized either.You have to be a Gallery member? whats that and why do you need to be one to view uncommented pics??Id love to look at them too.

Well, I've done my part and looked at 10 pics and posted replys in the most recently uploaded section.

hey guys,...I just read up at the top under the "userGroups" section...that to be a Gallery Supporter you have to have 100 posts.....

so I guess we should start posting

I joined the Gallery Supports a while back and I was posting comments every single time I saw uncommented pictures and then I stopped.

It kinda sucks really bad when you comment on so many pictures and say such really nice things about them and then no one says crap about your pictures. I mean I understand my work isn't the greatest but even someone being a total jerk would be better then not getting any comments at all and that's what I've found alot of my stuff isn't being commented on just like with threads I post I hardly ever get replies unless I raise hell...

I have not been on for three days. Due to making my youngest son's brides wedding cake for the 16th. She is wanting hydrangia cascading all over the cakes. That will be four tiers. So I am making hundreds of flowers to go on the cakes. No time to post here after today. I have to do at least a thousand I think to cover the cake. Plus figure what kind of icing to cover the cake that will be in a heat wave and not be the traditional BC.

This comment is helping me add to my posts to be a Gallery Supporter.

My feelings get hurt when my stuff isn't commented on, which is most of the time-I'll take negative comments even--anything-- and I'll admit that I don't post as much as I used to because of it.

That is small minded of me...I am off to post! Thanks for the reminder.
