I'm making a shower cake for a friend, and also hosting it. Only thing is that I'm stumped as to where to have it. I don't want to have it at someone's house as I'm really trying to come up with a fun and unique shower. Any ideas?????????????????
Thanks,
Amy

Local parks are always good places! not a lot of clean up or set up.

Or what about a local restaurant in the middle of the afternoon-late lunch so you don't have to contend with a lot of other people? Not sure how many people you're having though.

Are there any historical places/landmarks that you would be able to get reasonably? Around here there are a few places along the river that can hold up to 100 people and only cost $75.00 for the night.

Ohh... Do you have a Build-A-Bear workshop near you? That would be a lot of fun. Then you could make gifts for the child?

i'll have to think on this one a little more... hope these helped some

Is there a local recreation center nearby that you could rent out?
