I am making two cakes for a benefit auction next weekend. One will be a white cake with a strawberry filling covered in bc with fresh strawberrys on it. The other is going to be a chocolate cake covered in cbc. My ??? what besides cookies and cream would you suggest. I thought about some type of chocolate filling but i wasnt sure if that would be to much. Need something super yummy.

Peanut Butter Filling is a great option. There is a very good peanut butter filling on CC that I use in my chocolate cakes and I get rave reviews.

The whipped chocolate ganache is very yummy I have used the chocolate Kahlua fudge filling as well and substituted Bailey's Irish cream for the Kahlua tpp.

I had a similar question nearly a year ago, and several CC'ers recommended hazelnut praline mixed with BC to top my super chocolatey cupcakes. I mixed praline paste w/IMBC and I must admit it was divine. The only catch is the praline paste can be hard to come by.

mocha, caramel, raspberry or even the fillilng recipe from the giant ding dong cake. of course whipped ganache would be awesome as well. I would be careful with nut/PB fillings, just due to allergies and what not.
