ok ladies i need your help today im doing a cake and i buy my bcf from sams club and its a lil to sweet . i love it but a customer told me she didnt want it to sweet. so how do i tone the sweetness

You can try adding a pinch of salt and mixing well. Or you could possibly mixed in some softened unsalted butter (if the consistency isnt too thin).

IMBC is much less sweet then the regular stuff

Mix the salt with a bit of water first to dissolve it. Use popcorn salt if you have it (it's finer). A bit of lemon juice will do the trick too.

IMBC is Italian Meringue Buttercream. Its made with a hot syrup and butter. Alot more teadious than regular buttercream but it does taste good.

IMBC is a bit of work, but it is your best friend you once make it - you can do anything to it and it keeps up.
