totally off topic...but how delightful was that football game!!!??? My neighbors think I'm crazy because I live in WA state and hang a big Ohio State banner over my garage every Saturday in the fall. thumbs_up.gif

Hi OHIOANS!

I live in Delaware and I work in Dublin (at the Kroger on 161 and Franz) I do some of the cake decorating there but my heart's not in it when I have to do it for work, but I will be head of the Cheese dept. once we get completely remodeled (okay, let's hear it for the cheese jokes now "Head Cheese" etc....)

I would love to do a cake club.

I just requested that Sunday off for ICES. So hopefully I'll see some of you there.

That game was awesome!

I don't think you're weird for flying your flag up in WA. I was at my sister's in NC, and they have a full-force alumni club down there!

mlynnb, everybody is right that cake is gorgeous and well worth every bit of $4++ a slice even in NW ohio, i guess i would just not try to bake for anyone that thought that was "pretty steeep". understand we arent either coast or big city but our time is still worth more and just pennies an hour, stand your ground,even if your in it for fun, its nice to make some extra $$$$ and not be taken for a ride, IMHO!

I found this old thread last night. Are there any CC members from Clinton Co. or close to Wilmington? Xenia, Lebanon, Washinton C.H.? I'd love to find a few members near by to meet with and exchange ideas. I love this site! Lots to learn.
